Jules Chéret

Jules Chéret (1836-1932) was a pioneering French artist and lithographer who is often credited as the "Father of the Modern Poster." Born in Paris, Chéret began his career in the arts at a young age, apprenticing with lithographic printers where he honed his skills in design and printing techniques.
