Born in New York, Price's career blossomed during the early 20th century as she became an influential figure in children's literature and art. Price's artistic journey began with formal training at the Arts Students League of New York, where she honed her skills in drawing and painting. She quickly gained recognition for her elegant and imaginative artwork, often featuring delicate floral motifs, playful animals, and scenes from the natural world. Her illustrations graced numerous books and magazines, contributing significantly to the Golden Age of Illustration.
